FAQs

I haven’t done any other therapy before so I’m a complete beginner, can I come on this course? No, you must meet our prerequisites, we cannot make any exceptions for this course as it does not teach the foundation theory.

Can I get insured for this course?Yes, Balens insurance accept our Certificates and Diplomas. We work in close partnership with them, making sure that they accept all our qualifications.

What is the difference between the Derma Pen and the Derma Roller?Derma Pen is a motorised electrical device using a multiple needle head to quickly puncture the skin with specific depths and allows the creation of even puncture channels which do not create excess inflammation or scar tissue. Derma Rollers are a single use roller with needles which roll across the skin. Whilst derma roller is often used on the body it is sometimes used for facial treatments, which due to the puncture pattern of the roller and variations by the user can, over time, cause scar tissue when used on the thinner, more sensitive areas such as facial tissue. Rollers are a fixed length and therefore also not suitable for areas where the geography of the body needs different lengths of needle such as the face and head.
