Unlike many UK courses, you will learn about a wide variety of techniques that cover multiple protocols and frequencies based around the “Super AS 4” machine. This knowledge will provide you with the ability to give your clients the best results.

Learn how to use electro-acupuncture to treat musculoskeletal issues such as lengthening muscles, repairing soft tissue, and how to treat nerve and bone damage as well as diabetic neuropathy.

The course includes discussions of protocols for acupuncture points and musculoskeletal areas.

IN-DEPTH LEARNING FROM CASE STUDIES

Learn from the analysis of real in in-depth clinical case studies of medical issues, fequencies and customisation of Super AS 4 machine, and theory of electro-acupuncture and how this affects both the musculoskeletal system and brain function.

You will get to learn from real cases covering nerve regeneration, bone re-growing, muscular issues as well as other sports and cosmetic applications.

Assessment is by observation of students performing the therapy during the practical sessions to establish safe practice. Each student must be observed practising correct, safe, protocol in order to be deemed safe to practice and gain a full certificate (equates to 6 hours CPD).

Optional Diploma Available (equates to 26 hours CPD): £49 fee to upgrade via case studies verified by an independent external examiner.

FAQS

I haven’t done any other therapy before, so I’m a complete beginner, can I come on this course?We do not teach acupuncture on this course, so you will need to hold an acupuncture qualification in order to attend.

Can I get insured for this course?Yes, if you are an acupuncture therapist already, your own current insurer should cover this course as an addition, you will have to let them know and provide them with a copy of your certificate or diploma, and it may be advisable to check with them before booking. Balens insurance, however, accept our Certificates and Diplomas readily as we work in close partnership with them, making sure that they accept all our qualifications.

What are the benefits of Electro-Acupuncture?The benefits of this therapy are decreased healing time and hard and soft tissue regeneration.

COURSE REQUIREMENTS

You will need to hold a qualification in acupuncture that includes needling the torso, or be a current student in an acupuncture course and have already started your practical needling.

You must be 18 years or older and understand spoken and written English.

You must consent to giving and receiving acupuncture therapy.
